This release looks very promising, I've upgraded a live site with 5.5.0.532, because 5.4.4 wasn't working well with DataSprings Dynamic Registration... some ajax/email problems...
Now all is fine, but you forgot to include Telerik.Web.UI in the upgrade package.
It think it won't take to much to see a sable 5.5! Nice Work

Installation was flawless. Brief testing showed no obvious problems. Tested the page management system extensively - can't break it now. The test case that would always break DNN5.4.2 and sometimes 5.4.4 is OK under 5.5.0. Thanks

Looks like the DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.FriendlyUrl(ti, Path, Title) is not working as expected

I've upgrade from the alpha release to the beta release on a Windows 7 machine and everything works fine. One strange thing though, after unzipping the upgrade file to my webfolder and surfing to the default page, I didn't see any upgrade progress happening. It showed the homepage immediately and when I looked in the host settings, I saw the version was indeed upgraded to the beta version.

SMTP is not Authenticating even though "Basic" is selected and username and password is entered. I used the Newsletter module built into DNN 5.5 and received the following in the Event Log.
InnerException: Command parameter not implemented. The server response was: Authenticate first (#5.5.0)
FileName:
FileLineNumber: 0
FileColumnNumber: 0
Method: System.Net.Mail.MailCommand.CheckResponse

Alpha release of 5.5? You have to be kidding me! Great work, though I'm still getting ready to upgrade to 5.4.4
