Release Notes

DNN 8.0.0 CTP 6 fixes a couple of upgrade issues for those that were running CTP 4. This release also adds support for reference types to the Content Type Fields. Now you can define a field which is either a standard data type ( image, date, guid etc) or another content type. With this change you can now compose rich content types. This is the first step in providing List types which will be available later this month in Beta 1.

Reviews for this release

Seem to have one error in the upgrade from CTP5: 2015-10-08 16:39:13,114 [MACHINENAME][Thread:48][ERROR] DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade.Upgrade - System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Packages.PackageController.DeleteExtensionPackage(PackageInfo package) at DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade.Upgrade.UpgradeToVersion8006() at DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade.Upgrade.UpgradeApplication(String providerPath, Version version, Boolean writeFeedback)....... The page manager module disappeared from the page manager page too after upgrade... Simple enough to add back in though.
